We are pleased your child’s class is participating in the Conservation Captains program brought to you by Benbrook Water Authority and the Tarrant Regional Water District!

Captains are leaders! They inspire and direct their ship and crew. In this program, your child will gain the knowledge and skills to become a captain and lead your family in conserving our most precious resource – water!

As part of this program, your student will receive a take-home Water Conservation Kit with tools to practice saving water at home.

In addition, your family can also request a FREE Outdoor Advanced Saver Kit with more water-saving tools. Read about the kit below to see if it is right for you.

Avoid overwatering outdoors by using the products provided in this Kit. Let’s see what is inside!

Rain Gauge: Use the rain gauge to measure rainfall so you can determine how often you need to water your yard and avoid overwatering.

Sprinkler Gauge (2):  Use the sprinkler gauges to determine how long to water your lawn so you can save water and money.
